I read in the newspaper recently about Harvest Manitoba's choice-model method of distribution, where people can choose their own items, much like at a grocery store. I was happy to visit Harvest Manitoba to learn more about this model from CEO Vince Barletta and Director of Network, Advocacy, and Education Meaghan Erbus.
There are local food banks and many Harvest Manitoba food donation bins around the Southdale constituency. It's important to support these valuable community resources. I was very pleased to be able to discuss with Vince and Meaghan on how to better meet the food bank and donation needs of our community.
